Expansion of the Institute of Allergy, Immunology, and Pediatric Pulmonology

Mikey and Liora Federmann (Elbit Systems, Dan Hotels) and their son, Gidi, inaugurated the institute’s new floor, together with Prof. Elitzur, Shamir’s Director-General, Dr. Osnat Levtzion-Korach, and Sigal Adar of the Shamir Friends. The new floor houses a unique facility for food preparation in different doses toward desensitization, for the benefit of food-allergic patients, as well as new treatment rooms.

At the dedication of the new floor, Prof. Elitzur thanked the donors, saying “On behalf of the Institute’s team, I would like to convey our gratitude to the Federmann family for this significant improvement in the quality of the care we can offer to our patients.” Dr. Levtzion-Korach added, “The expansion of Israel’s leading institute for allergy care which we are inaugurating today is a considerable contribution to the treatment, in terms of procedures and quality, and we are very grateful.”
