Breast Reduction procedure is common among women with large or sagging breasts who experience side effects such as back and shoulder pain or difficulty engaging in physical activity.

During surgery, fat, glandular tissue, and skin are removed to create smaller, firmer, and more lifted breasts. The areola (the darker area around the nipple) can also be resized to match the new breast proportions.

The result is lighter, uplifted, and better-shaped breasts that fit the woman’s body frame.

Reasons for Breast Reduction

Medical reasons such as back and neck pain, spinal deformity or scoliosis, breathing difficulties, deep shoulder grooves from bra straps, skin irritation, infections, or fungal issues beneath the breast fold.

Aesthetic reasons such as asymmetrical breasts, post-pregnancy and breastfeeding (when the skin loses its elasticity and is sagging), excessive breast size, causing reduced quality of life or restricting physical activity.

Ideal candidates are mature women who fully understand the nature of the procedure and have realistic expectations regarding its results. Breast reduction is not recommended for women planning future pregnancies who wish to breastfeed.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)

Male breast reduction (Gynecomastia) is performed when the male chest appears enlarged or prominent, often causing social and aesthetic distress.
